Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL)was formerly known as Honda Siel Cars India Ltd established in 1995 and renamed to HCIL in the year 2012. Honda initially started a manufacturing plant at Greater Noida with production capacity of 30,000 cars per year. Honda has also setup another plant in Rajasthan across acres with an investment of Rs.3,526crores.
Honda has come up with lot of variants but few of them were discontinued like Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda Brio etc. Honda has won numerous awards like CNBC auto car of year 2004.
